We had conducted a blood donation drive as part of our Gandhi Jayanthi Celebrations at Ernakulam District Hospital. The event was organized in association with Indian Red Cross Society and Blood Bank, District hospital. The event was inagurated by Prof. M K Sanoo.
M. K. Sanu is a prominent Malayalam literary figure. He is a retired professor, critic, biographer, editor, translator, journalist, orator, social activist and humanist. He has authored over thirty-six books, translated four and edited ten. He is a permanent member of International body for Human rights. He is also the founding member of Mithram, School for Mentally Handicapped, in Mulanthuruthy village,Ernakulam District, Kerala.
The event was sucessfull and local newspapers covered it. Friends, colleages etc were gathered and they had an awarness on the blood donation after the session.
